Summary:
What happened in the book was that Bertie was alone. And one he saw  this white lion with his mom at the water hole.A few days later hes dad came back and said "we shot him we shot him.He ate all the our lambs'then Bertie knew who it was'one day they saw the baby again and told his dad please can we have him well and his mom said that. so then finally his dad fine. For years they had played with him but then he had to go to school so they left him in the wild.But a few years later when he came back from the war he saw him again. I almost forgot to say that Bertie had a girlfriend called Millie.

My feelings about the book:
I recommenced it for kids because it has a few lessons in it.

Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant it was very interesting The Sinai Academy was a school First we learned about the Jewish bible.Then they told us about the what they do.they separated  the boys and the girls.Then we learned about what they God told them to do It was interesting because they had to write God like this “G-d”.And all of the information that I just told was told by their priest called the Rabbi.People are trying to find Mount Sinai but they don't where it is. Oh and the Boys had to wear a thing called a a Kipper.A Kipper is like a little hat that the Jewish boy have to wear.Then we read the Jewish bible they open it from the back of the book.I accidentally opened it in front.Then we saw the ark of the Covenant with the ancient scrolls and the rabbi had strings hanging from his jacket. Walk in someone else’s shoes

Walking in someone else’s shoes mean to almost feel like them at that moment. Empathy is simply listening,holding space without judgment,emotionally connecting,and saying that incredibly healing message”You’re not alone” I needed empathy once when I got my new MRF.My MRF was a very expensive cricket bat.My dad and I were playing in the road/street.My dad hit the ball hit the ball and then and it hit the tip of my bat.And it chipped.I was crying a lot.Then my sister came.She was trying to make me happy.She was bringing me notes and telling me it’s ok.she tried to make me a new one.And then she made me very happy.You can show Empathy by sitting with someone when they are sad.

The grade 4 camp

Last week were on camp.We went to Simonsberg..... First we went to Giraffe house and then the on guy did a reptile show for us.The we climbed on the bus and we road to Simonsberg campsite. Then we climbed out of the bus and went into our rooms. in my room I slept with Aaron and Ty.then we had free time and then Aaron Ty and I went into the forest to build forts with logs and stick and a big log fell on my knee I almost broke my knee. My knee was RED. Then the next day we did activities my favorite was the river rafting and obstacle course and then on Friday it was judging day and my team won and then it was time to go home we went on the bus and i was really tired and I was ready to go home.
